Fluxus – Assemblage von Thomas Virnich, bestehend aus einem mit Glassplittern gefüllten Geigenkasten, der in der Handschrift des Künstlers zu einer skulpturalen Landschaft transformiert wird. Aus dem ursprünglich schützenden Behältnis entsteht ein autonomes Objekt mit neuer Bedeutung. In Anlehnung an Virnichs künstlerische Praxis, Alltagsgegenstände zu dekonstruieren und in poetische Kontexte zu überführen, verbindet dieses Werk den klanglosen Instrumentenkörper mit einer visuell verdichteten Innerlichkeit.

Overall very good. - Assemblage by Thomas Virnich, consisting of a violin case filled with glass splinters, which is transformed into a sculptural landscape in the artist's signature style. The originally protective container becomes an autonomous object with a new meaning. In keeping with Virnich's artistic practice of deconstructing everyday objects and transforming them into poetic contexts, this work combines the soundless body of the instrument with a visually condensed interiority.
