Neue Wilde – Printer's Proof Exemplar außerhalb der Auflage. - Unikatdruck, im unteren Motiv mit leicht von der späteren Edition abweichenden Variante. - A. R. Penck hatte ein enges und kooperatives Verhältnis zu seinen Druckern, die er als essenziellen Teil seines künstlerischen Prozesses betrachtete. Mit seiner symbolhaft reduzierten Bildsprache schuf er Assoziationsräume, welche eine aktive Auseinandersetzung des Betrachters mit der Darstellung einfordern. Dabei schätzte er die technische Expertise seiner Drucker, die ihm halfen, diese komplexen Ideen und Symbole in seinen Druckgraphiken präzise umzusetzen und seine Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten zu erweitern.

Neue Wilde – Colour serigraph on light wove card. Signed and inscribed "p.p". Printer's proof copy outside the edition. - Only the corners minimally and very imperceptibly bumped. Overall very good. Exceptionally splendid, colour-intense and bright impression of the image with margins. - Unique print, in the lower motif with a slightly different variant from the later edition. - A. R. Penck had a close and cooperative partnership with his printers, who he regarded as an essential part of his artistic process. With his symbolically reduced pictorial language, he created associative spaces that required the viewer to actively engage with the depiction. He appreciated the technical expertise of his printers, who helped him to implement these complex ideas and symbols precisely in his prints and to expand his expressive possibilities.
