Sammlung von 30 handgezeichneten und handgemalten japanischen Textilmustern. Kyoto, ca. 1960-1970. Verschiedene Techniken: u.a. Gouache, Aquarell, Goldfarbe und Tinte. Auf verschiedenen Papieren: u.a. Velin, Japanpapier, Textil. Formate von ca. 30 x 31 cm bis 35 cm x 55 cm.

Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Prachtvolle Sammlung von verschiedensten Entwürfen wohl für u.a. Kimonostoffe und japanische Paravents. Die Sammlung ist geprägt von einem floralen Leitmotiv, welches durch verschiedenste Techniken und die Verwendung einer weiten Bandbreite unterschiedlicher Papier immer wieder neu interpretiert wird. Neben traditionell filigranen Kompositionen mit einer dezenten Farbgebung tauchen auch lebendig-bunte Musterungen auf. Oft wird durch fließende Farbverläufe dabei eine äußerst irisierende Wirkung erzielt. - Vereinzelt mit leichten Randläsuren und kleinen Lagerspuren. Einige wenige mit Resten frührer Montierung verso. Insgesamt sehr gut.

Various techniques: including gouache, watercolour, gold paint and ink. On various papers, including wove paper, Japanese paper and textile. - Splendid collection of various designs, probably for kimono fabrics and Japanese screens, among others. The collection is characterised by a floral leitmotif, which is constantly reinterpreted through a wide variety of techniques and the use of a wide range of different papers. In addition to traditional filigree compositions with a subtle colour scheme, lively and colourful patterns also appear. An extremely iridescent effect is often achieved through flowing colour gradients. - Occasionally with slight marginal crazing and small traces of storage. A few with remnants of previous mounting on verso. Very good overall.
