Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Monod 7223. - Nummeriertes Exemplar, im Vorwort vom Herausgaber Charles Meunier signiert. - Die Radierungen jeweils mit Remarquen. - Erste Ausgabe des ersten Bandes. - Die großformatigen Radierungen zeigen in malerischer Manier dem üppigen Pariser Lebensstil während der Belle Epoque. In üppisch dynamischen Kompositionen stellt Lobel-Richie die vornehmen Pariser Damen in prachtvoll eleganter Kleidung bei geselligen Zusammenkünften in Pariser Cafés und Bars dar. - Papierbedingt im Blattrand sehr zart gebräunt, tls. etw. knickspurig und fingerfleckig. Insgesamt wohlerhaltenes Exemplar, die prachtvollen Radierungen kontraststark.

Modern Literature and Art – With engraved title vignette and 10 drypoint etchings by Lobel-Riche signed in the plate. Loosely inserted in orig.- cloth portfolio with gilt title and mounted illustration on cover (somewhat dusty, partly stained, rubbed and bumped, joints cracked). - Cf. Monod 7223 - Numbered copy, signed in the preface by the editor Charles Meunier. - The etchings each with remarques. - First edition of the first volume. - The large-format etchings show in a picturesque manor the opulent Parisian lifestyle during the Belle Epoque. In lavishly dynamic compositions Lobel-Richie depicts the distinguished Parisian ladies in splendidly elegant clothes at social gatherings in Parisian cafés and bars. - Due to the paper very lightly browned in the margins, partly a little bit creased and fingerstained. Altogether a well preserved copy, the splendid etchings rich in contrast.
