Missale Romanum ex decreto sacrosancti Concilii Tridentini restitutum (...). Mit gestoch. Schmucktitel, 7 gestoch. ganzs. Textkupfern, einigen Holzschnitt Initialen u. Vignetten u. zahlr. in den Text gedruckten Musiknoten. Venedig, Giunta, 1651. 34 Bll., 647 S., CIX, 10 S., 1 Bl. 8°. Blindgepr. Ldr. d. Zt. über Holzdeckeln mit 2 Schließen (fachmännisch restauriert, etw. berieben u. bestoßen, minimal wurmspurig).

Theologie und Religionswissenschaften – USTC 1745418. - Selten, nur 3 Exemplare für diese Ausgabe bei Worldcat (The British Library, St. Pancras, Stanford University Libraries, Harvard University). - Derzeit für uns im internationalen Handel nicht nachweisbar. - Die Giunta waren eine florentinische Buchdruckerfamilie, welche seit Ende des 15. Jahrhunderts unter anderem auch in Venedig eine Buchdruckerei betrieben. Als Wappen führte die Familie Giunta die florentinische Lilie. - Zweispaltiger Druck, durchgehend gedruckt in Rot und Schwarz. - Auf dem gestoch. Titelbl. mit hs. Besitzvermerk "Conventus Jesu: B: M: V: de Luggania. 1698". - Die letzten 3 weißen Bll. durchweg von alter Hand beschriftet. - Die nuancierten Tafeln gestochen von der italienischen Kupferstecherin Isabella Piccini. - Papierbedingt zart gebräunt, tls. etw. fingerfleckig, nur wenig braun- u. stockfleckig, 1 Bl. mit Einriss, tls. mit hinterlegten Defekten. Insgesamt sehr gut erhaltenes Exemplar, mit durchweg prachtvollen u. nuancenreichen Kupfertafeln.

Theology and Religious Studies – With engraved decorative title, 7 engraved fullpage text copperplates, some woodcut initials and vignettes and numerous musical notes printed in the text. Blind-tooled leather over wooden boards with 2 clasps (expertly restored, somewhat rubbed and bumped, minimally worm-marked). - Rare, only 3 copies for this edition at Worldcat (The British Library, St Pancras, Stanford University Libraries, Harvard University). - Currently not verifiable for us in international trade. - The Giunta were a Florentine family of book printers who ran a printing press in Venice from the end of the 15th century. The Giunta family used the Florentine lily as their coat of arms. - Two-column print, printed in red and black throughout. - On the engraved title with handwritten ownership inscription "Conventus Jesu: B: M: V: de Luggania. 1698". - The last 3 white leaves inscribed by old hand throughout. - The nuanced plates engraved by the Italian engraver Isabella Piccini. - Slightly browned due to the paper, somewhat fingerstained, only slightly browned and foxed, 1 leaf with tear, some backed defects. Altogether a very well-preserved copy, with splendid and nuanced copper plates throughout.
