Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Eins von 500 Exemplaren. - Adler (1909-1965) war ein ungarisch-jüdischer Grafiker und Maler und Überlebender des Holocaust. 1944 wurde er in das Konzentrationslager Theresienstadt deportiert und 1945 von der sowjetischen Armee befreit, worauf er nach Ungarn zurückkerte. Nach der Befreiung veröffentlichte er dieses Portfolio, das teils seine Erlebnisse und teils Episoden von Überlebenden des Konzentrationslagers Auschwitz darstellt. - Rücken gebrochen. Ränder leicht gebräunt. Insgesamt gut erhalten.

Half canvas with front title (rubbed and bumped). - One of 500 copies. - Adler (1909-1965) was a Hungarian-Jewish graphic artist and painter, and a survivor of the Holocaust. In 1944, he was deported to the Theresienstadt concentration camp and liberated by the Soviet Army in 1945, after which he returned to Hungary. After the liberation, he published this portfolio, which depicts partly his experiences and partly episodes from survivors of the Auschwitz concentration camp. - Spine broken. Edges slightly browned. Overall, well preserved.
