Blätter aus dem Feldskizzenbuch. Folge von 31 Lithographien. 1914-16. Je Lithographie auf GF Drey Könige Bütten. Blattmaß je 38 x 47 cm. In illustrierter Lwd. Mappe. Größtenteils im Stein monogrammiert, datiert und bezeichnet.

Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Selten. - Andreas Gering, ein deutscher Künstler, welcher nach seiner graphischen Lehre die Malerei an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste München unter Carl Johann Becker-Gundahl studierte. Seine Erlebnisse des Ersten Weltkrieges prägten ihn und beeinflussten sein graphisches Werk stark. Er unternahm Studienreisen unter anderem nach Serbien und Mazedonien. Dort fertigte er zahlreiche Zeichnungen an, welche von seiner hohen Beobachtungsgabe zeugen. - Seine Mappenwerke wie "Leben u. Tod" (1919), Feldzeichnungen (1914-1918, Lithographien), "Die Erde" (1921, Radierungen) befinden sich unter anderem im Besitz des Museums der Stadt Nürnberg. - Je zart gebräunt, im Rand meist leicht fingerfleckig, nur vereinzelt etw. braunfleckig. Je mit Schöpfrand. Insgesamt wohlerhalten. Feingliedrige, teils zart transparente Lithographien.

Modern Literature and Art – Expressionism - Series of 31 lithographs. Each lithograph on GF Drey Könige laid paper. In an illustrated canvas portfolio. Most monogrammed, dated, and inscribed in the stone. - Rare. - Andreas Gering, a German artist who, after completing his graphic arts apprenticeship, studied painting under Carl Johann Becker-Gundahl at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. His experiences during the First World War left a lasting impression on him and strongly influenced his graphic work. He undertook study trips to Serbia and Macedonia, among other places. There he produced numerous drawings that testify to his keen powers of observation. - His portfolios, such as "Life and Death" (1919), Field Drawings (1914-1918, lithographs), and "The Earth" (1921, etchings), are owned by the Nuremberg City Museum, among others. - Each lightly browned, mostly with light finger-staining in the margins, only occasionally with some browning. Each with scalloped edges. Overall well preserved. Delicate, partly delicately transparent lithographs.
