Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Werbealbum der Luxusverleger L. Marboeuf & Cie anlässlich der Präsentation ihrer Neujahrswünsche für 1920 mit verschiedenen Ausführungen von Schachteln für Schokolade, Marrons glacés, feine Bonbons und Luxusparfums. Die meisten Entwürfe sind mit Pochoir koloriert, einige zusätzlich mit Gold geprägt. Während einige Modelle noch im traditionelleren Stil des 19. Jahrhunderts gehalten sind, greifen andere bereits typische Art Déco Elemente der 20er Jahre auf. Die farbleuchtenden Designs sind in verschiedenen Formen gehalten: abgerundet, quadratisch, oval oder rechteckig. Einige sind zudem mit Zierbändern ausgestattet. Die Sammlung beinhaltet Modelle für die großen Namen der damaligen Süßwaren- und Schokoladenindustrie: Au chat noir, Mogol's, E. Maze, F. A. Desarnod, Kohler, Klaus, Confiserie Zurcher, À la petite bergère sowie für bekannte Parfümeure wie Lydès, Gueldy, Silva, Selfridge London, Parfumerie Ninon, Gilot, Rigaud und Gabilla. Die Pariser Firma Marboeuf & Cie war spezialisiert auf das Kunstverlagswesen und Luxuskartonagen. - Teils minimal berieben. Ein Entwurf mit Randeinriss. Gut erhalten und farbkräftig.

Laminated on album pages, in cloth album of the time (with defects). - Advertising album of the luxury publishers L. Marboeuf & Cie on the occasion of the presentation of their New Year's wishes for 1920 with various designs of boxes for chocolates, marrons glacés, fine sweets and luxury perfumes. Most of the designs are coloured with pochoir, some additionally embossed with gold. While some models are still in the more traditional style of the 19th century, others already pick up on typical Art Deco elements of the 1920s. The colourful designs come in various shapes: rounded, square, oval or rectangular. Some are also equipped with decorative bands. The collection includes models for the big names of the confectionery and chocolate industry of the time: Au chat noir, Mogol's, E. Maze, F. A. Desarnod, Kohler, Klaus, Confiserie Zurcher, À la petite bergère as well as for well-known perfumers such as Lydès, Gueldy, Silva, Selfridge London, Parfumerie Ninon, Gilot, Rigaud and Gabilla. The Parisian firm Marboeuf & Cie was specialised in art publishing and luxury cardboard boxes. - Partly minimally rubbed. One design with marginal tear. Well preserved and with strong colours.
