Tapetenmusterbuch mit 24 Tafeln. Paris, um 1930. Die Tafeln je farbiger Offset-Druck auf Papier. Je ca. 12 x 17,5 cm. Je in Punkten in Album montiert, hier mit silberfarbener Rahmung und Beschreibung zur präsentierten Tapete in französischer Sprache. 24,5 x 30,5 cm. OKt.-Album mit Kordelbindung, mit silber geprägtem Firmensignet auf VDeckel (etw. beschabt u. berieben).

Victoria and Albert Museum, E.2018:24-1990, E.2018:15-1990, E.2018:6-1990. - Das 1839 gegründete Haus Paul Gruin war einer der größten Tapetenhersteller in Frankreich. Im Laufe des 20. Jahrhunderts brachte das Unternehmen zahlreiche innovative Muster auf den Markt: abwaschbare, antimikrobielle und lackähnliche Papiere. - Die 24 Tafeln des Albums präsentieren die Tapeten je in modern eingerichteten Innenräumen, die Motive zeigen verspielt gemusterte oder auch floral ausgeformtes Dekor. Je mit typogr. Beschreibung des gezeigten Musters. - Albumblätter im Rand minimal angebräunt, die Muster tls. leicht knickspurig im Blattrand. Insgesamt sehr gut erhalten, die Tafeln in leuchtender Farbigkeit.

Over the course of the 20th century, the company launched numerous innovative patterns on the market: washable, antimicrobial and lacquer-like papers. - The 24 plates of the album each present the wallpapers in modern interiors, the motifs show playfully patterned or floral designs. Each with typogr. description of the pattern shown. - Album pages minimally browned in margins, some patterns slightly creased in margins. Overall in very well preserved condition, the plates in bright colors.
