Aufl., Tle. 2-5 in Erstausgabe. - Ausführlich beschrieben und mit Darstellungen in Kupfern bebildert werden zahlreiche Berufe bzw. Betätigungen, u.a. des Taxidermologen ("Austopfers"), Insektensammlers, Tischlers, Glasers, Drechsler, Buchbinders- und druckers (mit Gutenberg-Porträt) etc. - Bernhard Heinrich Blasche (1766-1832) war zwischen 1796-1810 Lehrer an Salzmanns Erziehungsanstalt in Schnepfenthal. - Alle Bände mit Aussonderungsstempeln und - vermerken des Landesmuseums Braunschweig auf Titelblatt verso. - Mit stärkerem Beschnitt, dadurch teils geringer Textverlust der Legenden zu den Kupferstichen in Tl. 1. Teils stockfleckig und etwas gebräunt. Insgesamt gut erhaltener Exemplarsatz des vollständig in allen 5 Bänden seltenen Werks.

Childrens Books – Rare complete set of Blasche's richly illustrated descriptions of professions for young people. - See Wegehaupt I, 165 (only parts 1 and 2) - Part 1 in the 2nd, revised edition, parts 2-5 in first edition. - Numerous professions or occupations are described in detail and illustrated with partly etched copper engravings, including those of taxidermologist, insect collector, carpenter, glazier, carpenter, bookbinder and printer (with a Gutenberg portrait). - Bernhard Heinrich Blasche (1766-1832) was a teacher at Salzmann's educational institution in Schnepfenthal between 1796 and 1810. - All volumes with cancellation stamps and annotations from the Braunschweig State Museum on the verso of the title page. - With heavier trimming, resulting in some minor text loss in the legends to the engravings in part 1. Some foxing and some browning. Overall, a well-preserved set, particularly scarce in a complete state with all five volumes.
