Sie vertraten die Ansicht, dass der Reichtum der Nationen aus dem Wert der "Landbewirtschaftung" abgeleitet wurde und die landwirtschaftlichen Produkte einen hohen Preis haben sollten. Im zweiten Teil des Buches (Discours ... sur la liberté du Commerce des Grains) fordert Le Trosne die Befreiung des Getreidehandels innerhalb Frankreichs. - Marmorierter Schnitt.

History – Rare first edition of Le Trosne's treatise on physiocracy.In "De l'ordre social", Le Trosne sets out the main principles of physiocracy, the "government of nature", which is considered the first school of thought in economics. They held the view that the wealth of nations was derived from the value of "land cultivation" and that agricultural products should have a high price. In the second part of the book (Discours ... sur la liberté du Commerce des Grains), Le Trosne calls for the liberation of the grain trade within France. - Marbled cut.
