Im Druck dem späteren schwedischen König Karl X. Gustav gewidmet. 1674 sollte eine dritte Auflage erscheinen. - Kopfsteg mit knappem Beschnitt, einige Seiten mit Unterstreichungen, Titelei gering fingerfleckig, insgesamt wohlerhaltenes Exemplar.

History – Rare legal text on maritime law. - Second, corrected and expanded edition of a scarce account on maritime law by the German humanist scholar at the Uppsala University, Johannes Luccenius (1598-1677). Dedicated in print to the later Swedish King Charles X Gustav. The first edition was published in 1650, a third edition was to appear in 1674. - Top edge with minor trimming, some pages with underlining, title page slightly finger-stained, overall well-preserved copy indeed.
