T. 2 enthält die Militärgeschichte des Herzogsb von Marlborough. - Exlibris auf Innendeckel, teils wasserrandig, letzte Bll. etwas sporfleckig, kleiner verblasster Stempel versu Tafeln.
History – First engl. edition. vol. in 1. - With engraved frontispiece and 9 (8 folded) copper plates. - Half leather (slightly scuffed, back cover almost detached). - First English edition (previously Paris 1729). - Rare history of the War of the Spanish Succession with decorative copperplate engravings. - Vol. 1 describes the battles and sieges under the command of Prince Eugene. Vol. 2 contains the military history of the Duke of Marlborough. - Ex libris on inside cover, some water stains, last pages slightly spotted, small faded stamp on plates.
