Epistolarum Liber, Continens praeclara multa cum Ecclesiastica tum Politica & Historica cognitione dignissima. Mit einer Titelvignette. Leiden, Elzevir, 1647. 12 Bll., 517 S. Kl.-8°. Pgt. mit hs. RTitel, spanischen Kanten und gesprenkeltem Schnitt (angeschmutzt und leicht bestoßen).

Geschichtswissenschaften – Selten. - Briefsammlung, die auch als "liber sextus" oder "liber Lugdunensem" bezeichnet wird. Dort sind 446 Briefe bis auf neun Stück erstmalig ediert. Es handelt sich dabei um ein Konvolut von Autographen oder Abschriften aus den Jahren 1515 - 1560, zwei Drittel davon stammen jedoch aus der Zeit nach 1540. Diese Originale bzw. für diese Edition benutzten Abschriften sind mittlerweile Bestandteil des Codex monacensis. - Mit hs. Anmerkungen auf dem Schmutztitel und den hinteren Vorsätzen. - Ränder leicht gebräunt, stockfleckig, insgesamt sehr gut erhalten.

History – With a title vignette. Vellum with handwritten title, overlapping foredge and speckled edges (soiled and slightly bumped). - Rare. - Collection of letters, also known as 'liber sextus' or 'liber Lugdunensem'. This is the first edition of all but nine of the 446 letters. This is a collection of autographs or copies from the years 1515 - 1560, two thirds of which, however, date from after 1540. These originals or copies used for this edition are now part of the Codex monacensis. - With hadnwritten annotations on the title page and the rear endpapers. - Margins slightly browned, foxing, overall in very good condition.
