History – First American edition after the German first edition (1896) and the first English translation in the same year. - PMM 381 - Heymann, Bibliotheca Rosenthaliana 46, p. 102 - Rare founding document of Zionism, in which the idea of a national homeland for the Jews was manifested, written under the impression of the Dreyfus trial in Paris and the pogroms in Russia. New York, 1904. - Original cloth binding with gilt title on cover and gilt edging on three sides (some staining and rubbing, capitals and spine partially glued and with minor damage). - Inner fold broken, endpapers browned and reinforced in the inner fold, slightly damp-stained at the bottom edge (outside the text and mainly at the beginning and end).
