Literatur des 17. bis 19. Jahrhunderts – Wohl einzige, weder im Handel noch in Bibliotheken nachweisbare Ausgabe. - Hinter dem Pseudonym Arno verbirgt sich ein Mitglied des habsburgischen Hochadels: Maria Antoinette, Erzherzogin von Toskana (1858-1883). - Vgl. den Eintrag im BLKÖ (Bd. 46, ab S. 211): "Auch wird der Erzherzogin die Autorschaft eines Bändchens Gedichte, betitelt 'Lieder von Arno' ... zugeschrieben, wovon nur eine ganz kleine Anzahl Exemplare, als Manuscript gedruckt, unter wenige Auserwählte vertheilt wurde. Dieses Bändchen enthält 62 Lieder (Gedichte) voll Innigkeit und Wehmuth (...)". - Franz Brümmers Lexikon der deutschen Dichter des 19. Jahrhunderts unter dem Stichwort Maria Antoinette: "Im Jahre 1880 wurde die Erzherzogin vom Kaiser von Österreich zur Äbtissin des Hradschiners adeligen Damenstiftes in Prag ernannt. Sie lebte meist in Salzburg und starb am 13. April 1883 zu Cannes in Südfrankreich." - Buchblock angebrochen, vord. fl. Vorsatz lose, papierbedingt etw. gebräunt, durchgehend stockfleckig.

Literature of 17th to 19th Century – Probably the only edition not to be found either in the trade or in libraries. - Gilt and blind-stamped cloth with gilt-stamped title and gilt-stamped cover title 'Herzens-Klänge' and three gilt edges (rubbed, browned, front hinge loosened). - Behind the pseudonym Arno hides a member of the Habsburg aristocracy: Maria Antoinette, Archduchess of Tuscany (1858-1883). - Cf. the entry in the BLKÖ (vol. 46, from p. 211): "The archduchess is also credited with the authorship of a volume of poems entitled 'Lieder von Arno' ... of which only a very small number of copies, printed as a manuscript, were distributed to a select few. This little volume contains 62 songs (poems) full of intimacy and melancholy (...)". - Book block broken, front free endpaper loose, somewhat browned due to paper, foxing throughout.
