Sammlung von 77 architektonischen Kupferstichen sowie 1 Zeichnung aus dem Umfeld Theodor Galles. 17./18. Jh. Versch. Formate von ca. 15,5 x 21 bis 26 x 35 cm. Mont. auf Bütten ohne Wz. Fol. Beigefarbene Lwd. des 20. Jh. mit goldgepr. RTitel "Galle - Theatrical Scenery" (angeschmutzt u. fleckig).

Literatur des 17. bis 19. Jahrhunderts – Enthält Blätter aus "Variae Architecturae Formae" sowie von Hieronymous Cook, Johannes Vredeman de Vries, Dominique Barrière, D. Custos und Theodor Galle oder von ihnen herausgegebene Drucke. Mit drei Originalzeichnungen in Graphit auf einem unregelmäßig zusammen montierten Blatt, mit Putti, Totenköpfen und Skeletten, möglicherweise von einem Künstler in der Tradition Abrahams van Diepenbeeck (1596-1675) oder Galles (1571-1633). - Jeweils am Plattenrand beschnitten, an den Rändern durchgehend mit Kleberspuren, tls. gebräunt, sonst insg. gut erhalten.

Mounted on laid paper without watermark. 20th cent. beige canvas with gilt-stamped title "Galle - Theatrical Scenery" (soiled and stained). - Contains plates from "Variae Architecturae Formae" as well as prints by Hieronymous Cook, Johannes Vredeman de Vries, Dominique Barrière, D. Custos, and Theodor Galle, or prints published by them. With three original graphite drawings on an irregularly mounted sheet, with putti, skulls, and skeletons, possibly by an artist in the tradition of Abraham van Diepenbeeck (1596-1675) or Galle (1571-1633). - Each trimmed at the platemarks, throughout with traces of glue along the edges, partially browned, otherwise overall well preserved.
