Literatur des 17. bis 19. Jahrhunderts – Prachtexemplar auf blütenweißem Velin, in einem schönen Wiener Meistereinband der Zeit, Exemplar des österr. Erzherzogs Ludwig Viktor. - Wurzbach LIX, 331. - ADB 45 (1900), S. 89-94. - Schöner Druck mit elegant schmalem Satz, dieser eingefasst mit ornamentalem Rahmen. - Joseph von Zerboni di Sposetti (1766-1831) war preußischer Beamter, Publizist, Dichter und Freimaurer. - Provenienz: 1. Ludwig Viktor, Erzherzog von Österreich (1842-1919), mit dessen lithograph. Ex-Libris auf dem Vorderspiegel. 2. Hs. Vermerk auf hinterem flieg. Vorsatz: "Erworben Berlin 1940 bei Agnes Straub ..." - Die Spiegel an den Rändern, der Schnitt und einzelne Seiten stellenweise gering stockfleckig, sonst wohlerhaltenes Exemplar dieses sammelwürdigen Rarums.

Literature of 17th to 19th Century – Exquisite copy on flowery white laid paper, in a beautiful Viennese master binding of the time. Copy of Austrian Archduke Ludwig Viktor. - Private imprint with an elegantly narrow typesetting framed with ornamentals. - Joseph von Zerboni di Sposetti (1766-1831) was a Prussian civil servant, publicist, poet and freemason. - Provenance: 1. Ludwig Viktor, Archduke of Austria (1842-1919), with his lithographed book-plate on front paste-down. 2. Autograph note with pencil on rear fly-leaf: 'Acquired Berlin 1940 from Agnes Straub ...' - Margins of paste-downs, edges and some individual pages slightly foxed in places, otherwise a well-preserved very much collectible copy of this scarce item.
