Memoirs of the Margravine of Anspach. 2 Bde. Mit je einem Frontispiz. Paris, A. and W. Galignani, 1826. VII, 1 Bl., 280 S. VII, 268 S. Kl.-8°. Ldr. mit schwarzgepr. Deckelfileten und goldgepr. Eckfleurons, Steh- und Innenkantenvergoldung, sowie mont. goldgepr. RSchild und dekorativer Prägung (tls. stärker berieben und bestoßen, Bd. 2 mit mont. Bibliotheksschild).

Literatur des 17. bis 19. Jahrhunderts – Selten auf Auktionen. - Autobiographie der britischen Schriftstellerin Elizabeth Craven. Sie war die Tochter des 4. Earl of Berkeley und spätere Ehefrau des Markgrafen Karl Alexander von Ansbach und Bayreuth, Prinz zu Sayn. Bekannt wurde sie durch ihre Theaterstücke, die sie seit ihrem 26. Lebensjahr schrieb, sowie ihre Reiseberichte. Die Autobiographie wurde zwei Jahre vor Ihrem Tod veröffentlicht. - Stockfleckig, Ränder gebräunt. Insgesamt gut erhalten. - Dabei: Zwei Portrait Karten des Markgrafen Karl Friedrich Wilhelm und der Markgräfin Friederike Luise.

Literature of 17th to 19th Century – 2 vols. Each with a frontispiece. Leather with black-stamped cover fillets and gold-stamped corner fleurons, gilt on the top and inside edges, as well as a mounted gold-stamped spine label and decorative embossing (partly heavily rubbed and bumped, vol. 2 with mounted library label). - Rare at auction. - Autobiography of the British author Elizabeth Craven. She was the daughter of the 4th Earl of Berkeley and later wife of Margrave Karl Alexander of Ansbach and Bayreuth, Prince of Sayn. She became known for her plays, which she wrote from the age of 26, as well as her travel accounts. The autobiography was published two years before her death. - Foxing, browned edges. Overall in good condition. - Included: Two portrait cards of Margrave Karl Friedrich Wilhelm and Margravine Friederike Luise.
