Stammbuch des Samuel Daniel Lischoviny, Medizinstudent in Wien. Mit 45 Einträgen, 1 Bleistift- und 2 Federzeichnungen sowie 6 Aquarellen. Wien, Pressburg, Neusohl u.a., 1765-1772. Ca. 250 Bll. Bütten mit Wz. (ca. 12 x 19 cm), darunter zahlr. blanko. Quer-8°. Ldr. d. Zt. auf 4 Bünden mit dreis. Goldschnitt, Rückenverg. u. goldgepr. DFileten mit goldgepr. Bordüre, in blindgepr., 2-teiligen Ldr.-Schuber d. Zt. (je gering berieben u. bestoßen).

Manuskripte und Urkunden – Lischoviny wurde um 1745 in Neusohl (Banská Bystrica) geboren u. war vor der Universität am Evangelischen Kolleg von Eperjes (Matrikelliste Nr. 524). 1772 promovierte er über Pocken. - Mit vorwiegend während der Studienzeit angelegten Einträgen u.a. von: Morten Thrane Brünnich (1737-1827, dän. Zoologe u. Mineraloge), Jens Esmark (1763-1839, dän. Geologe u. Mineraloge), Christian Ernst Krieger (1745-1818, Arzt u. Apotheker), Samuel Krieger (1744-1781, Ingenieur u. Kartograph), Matthias Saxtorph (1740-1800, Arzt), Samuel Tesedík (1742-1820, Prieser u. Pädagoge, Begründer der Berufspädagogik u. Bodenkunde in Ungarn), Georg Anton Vielei (1745-1830, Schweizer Arzt u. Apotheker), den Eltern u.a. Familienmitgliedern. - Die fein ausgeführten Aquarelle, davon eines signiert von J.F. Kiets, meist mit christlichen oder emblematischen Motiven. - Vorsatz mit altem Antiquariatsmärkchen u. mod. Monogrammstempel, tls. minimal stock- u. fingerfleckig, insg. sauber u. wohlerhalten.

Manuscripts – Austria - Hungary - Liber amicorum of Samuel Daniel Lischoviny, medical student in Vienna. With 45 entries, 1 pencil and 2 ink drawings and 6 watercolours. Handmade paper with watermark. Contemp. leather on 4 raised bands with gilt edges, spine gilt and gilt stamped fillets with gilt border, in blind-stamped 2-piece slipcase (each slightly rubbed and bumped). - Lischoviny was born around 1745 in Neusohl (Banská Bystrica) and attended the Protestant College of Eperjes before university (matriculation list no. 524). In 1772 he completed his doctorate on smallpox. - With entries from Vienna, Pressburg, Neusohl and others created mainly during his studies, including, among others, as listed above. - Endpapers with old antiquarian bookmark and mod. monogram stamp, some minimal foxing and fingerstaining, otherwise overall clean and well preserved.
