Sammlung von zwei Original-Kupferstichen. Pieter Nolpe nach Claes Moeyaert. Um 1638. Auf Papier. Blattmaße ca. 28,5 x 38,5 cm. Punktuell unter Passepartout montiert.

Kunst vor 1900 – Hollstein Dutch 100 u. 102. - Aus Caspar Barlaeus Werk "Medicea Hospes", welches 1638 in Amsterdam erschien. - Tableau vivant, in dem die französische Jungfrau, dargestellt von Maria de' Medici, die Götter um Hilfe anfleht. Heinrich IV., als Herkules gekleidet, wird beauftragt, das Land wieder zu vereinen. Friede, Amor und Venus blicken bestürzt auf den Globus des in zwei Hälften geteilten französischen Reiches. - Je mit geglättetem Mittelfalz. Etwas knitterig und leicht fleckig. Insgesamt wohlerhalten.
