Bootshaus bei Ketzin an der Havel. 1934. Weißgehöhtes Aquarell auf Velin. 39,5 x 51,5 cm. Signiert und datiert.

Orts- und Landeskunde mit verschiedenen Schlagworten – Nach dem Tod seines Vaters begann Willi Eplinius eine Malerlehre bei dem königlichen Hofzimmermaler Max Andre. Als dieser sein Talent erkannte kam Eplinius als Privatschüler in der Meisterklasse von Professor Max Koch. - Aquarellierte Zeichnung eines Bootshauses bei Ketzin. Zwei Männer treten aus dem Haus heraus und lassen ein kleines Boot zu Wasser während im Hintergrund die Stadtkirche St. Petri zu sehen ist. - Insgesamt sehr gute erhalten.

Signed and dated. - After his father's death, Willi Eplinius began an apprenticeship as a painter with the royal court painter Max Andre. When Andre recognized his talent, Eplinius became a private student in Professor Max Koch's master class. - Watercolor drawing of a boathouse near Ketzin. Two men emerge from the house and launch a small boat, while the town church of St. Peter can be seen in the background. - Overall, very good condition.
