Sammlung von über 25 Ansichten der Schweiz und der Alpen und 10 handkolorierten Stichen mit österreichischen u. deutschen Kostümen. Frühes 19. Jh. Kolorierte Stahlstiche auf Papier. Sichtmaße von ca. 14,5 x 20,5 cm bis 28,5 x 19,5 cm. Je unter Passepartout und dekorativ unter Glas gerahmt (ungeöffnet, teils mit kl. Defekten).

Geographie und Reisen – Schönes Ensemble pittoresker Ansichten der Schweiz und der Alpen nach feinen Zeichnungen des britischen Künstlers und führenden Illustratoren der Topographie seiner Generation, W. H. Bartlett. Enthält u.a. Stiche von R. Wallis, J. B. Allan, H. Adlard, T. Jeavons. Des Weiteren 6 Bll. aus der Folge "The Costume of the Hereditary States of the House of Austria" (London, William Bulmer für William Miller, 1804). Enthält die Bll. Nr. 4, 5, 7, 11, 48, 49. Dabei: 1 Bl. kolorierter Kupferstich mit Kostümen des Russisch kaiserlichen Militärs. Deutschland, 19. Jh. - 1 Bl. einen Papageien darstellend. Aus Guérin-Méneville, Dictionnaire pittoresque d'histoire naturelle et des phénomènes de la nature, Paris, 1833-1839. - Einige Bll. zart gebräunt und teilweise braunfleckig. Insgesamt in farbfrischem Zustand.

Each under passepartout and decoratively framed under glass (unopened, partly with small defects). - Beautiful ensemble of picturesque views of Switzerland and the Alps after fine drawings by the British artist and leading illustrator of topography of his generation, W. H. Bartlett. Contains among others engravings by R. Wallis, J. B. Allan, H. Adlard, T. Jeavons. Furthermore 6 leaves from "The Costume of the Hereditary States of the House of Austria" (London, William Bulmer for William Miller, 1804). Contains fols. 4, 5, 7, 11, 48, 49. 1 sheet coloured copper engraving with costumes of the Russian imperial military. Germany, 19th century - 1 sheet depicting a parrot. From Guérin-Méneville, Dictionnaire pittoresque d'histoire naturelle et des phénomènes de la nature, Paris, 1833-1839. - Some fol. delicately browned and partly brown-stained. Overall well preserved and in colour-fresh condition.
