Der zweite Teil widmet sich der seelischen und intellektuellen Bildung von Frauen, die im Sinne einer christlichen Ethik vollzogen werden sollte. Mit 2 abschließenden kurzen Absätzen über Alter und Jugend. - Die schönen Zeichnungen zeigen u.a.: Wanderer in Winterlandschaft, Siegelring, Putti, Blütenkranz, Vogelnest, Berglandschaft, Lamm etc. - Mit Buntpapier- u. eingebundenen Seidenmoiré-Vorsätzen. - Die ersten 3 Bll. mit leichtem Wasserrand, sonst insg. wohlerhaltenes, sehr dekoratives Exemplar.

Manuscripts – France - French manuscript in 2 parts on paper. With 14 fine gouache drawings in the appendix. 125 sheets with engraved border (Augusta Plon Sc.) Blue half leather (signed H. Alix) withgilt top edge, marbled coloured paper cover, gilt stamped title 'Satan' to spine and spine gilt (rubbed in places). - The first part deals with the characteristics of Satan and how he can use them to seduce, harm and lead people astray from the path of God. The second part is devoted to the spiritual and intellectual education of women, which should be carried out in accordance with Christian ethics. With 2 concluding short paragraphs on age and youth. The beautiful drawings show, among other things: a wanderer in a winter landscape, a signet ring, cherubs, a wreath of flowers, a bird's nest, a mountain landscape, a lamb, etc. With coloured paper and bound silk moiré endpapers. The first three sheets with slight water damage in the white margin, otherwise well preserved, very decorative copy.
