Geographie und Reisen – Sehr seltene Serie mit detailgenauen kartographischen Darstellungen im großen Maßstab des asiatischen Russland. - Die Karten als rohe Bogen vor dem eventuellen Beschnitt und dem Kaschieren auf Leinen mit militärischen (Festungen, Grenzposten, Nachtlager) und zivilen Orten wie Siedlungen (in 7 Größenabstufungen), christlichen und buddhistischen Klöstern sowie Moscheen, Missionsstationen und Grabstätten, weiters Burgruinen, aber auch Fabriken, Bergwerke, Brunnen. - Fehlt Bl. Nr. I mit dem Titeldruck. - Die Karten mit teils größeren Randläsuren, stellenweise leicht fleckig und wasserrandig, papierbedingt gebräunt.

Geography and Travel – Very rare series with detailed, large-scale cartographic representations of Asian Russia. - The maps, loose as raw sheets before any trimming and mounting on linen, show military sites (forts, border posts, overnight camps) and civilian locations such as settlements (in seven sizes), Christian and Buddhist monasteries and mosques, mission stations and burial sites, as well as castle ruins, factories, mines, and wells. - Missing sheet no. I with the title print. - The maps have some major marginal wear, some are slightly stained and waterstained, and browned due to the paper.
