Geographie und Reisen – Die teils erotischen Abbildungen zeigen Szenen des kulturell und ökonomisch florierenden Edos. - Erster Band der 165 Teile umfassenden Sammlung von Gedichten in Form des maeku-dsuke, bei der ein vorhandenes Gedicht mit eigenen Versen ergänzt wurde. Die besten Gedichte wurden premiert und von Mitte bis Ende der Edo Periode veröffentlicht. Namensgebend für diese Gattung war Karai Senryü (1718-1790), der tausende dieser Gedichte gesammelt hatte. Die bedeutendsten Bände erschienen noch zu Senryüs Lebzeiten. - Auf dem letzten Blatt befinden sich die Schriftzeichen für Yanagidaru.

The partly erotic pictures show scenes of the culturally and economically flourishing Edos. - First volume of the 165-part collection of poems in the form of maeku-dsuke, in which an existing poem has been supplemented with own verses. The best poems were premiered and published from the middle to the end of the Edo period. The name of this genus was Karai Senryü (1718-1790), who had collected thousands of these poems. The most important volumes appeared even to Senryüs lifetime. - The last sheet contains the characters for Yanagidaru. - Back wrapper missing.
