Sammlung von 10 Bll. mit Miniaturmalerei. Vermutl. Indien, spätes 18. Jh. Je Bl. mit einer Zeichnung, je Gouache auf Bütten. Blattmaße je ca. 18 x 33 cm. Die Darstellungen eingefasst in gezeichnete Rahmung sowie mit Sanskrit-Handschrift in schwarzer und roter Tinte, auch verso. In Punkten je 2 Bll. unter Doppelpassepartout montiert sowie unter Glas gerahmt (tls. ungeöffnet).

Geographie und Reisen – Mit Darstellungen von versch. Tempel- uns Palastszenen, besonders spannend die Darstellung einer Gruppe Figuren, welche bunte Papierdrachen steigen lässt. - Papierbedingt mit leichter und gleichmäßiger Bräunung, partiell mit kl. Fleckchen. Insgesamt sehr gut. Die Malerei in sehr guter Erhaltung, die Farben leuchtend.

Geography and Travel – Collection of 10 sheets with miniature painting. Presumably India, late 18th century. Each sheet with a drawing, each gouache on laid paper. The depictions framed in drawn frames and with Sanskrit manuscript in black and red ink, also on verso. Two sheets each spot-mounted under double mat and framed under glass (some frames unopened). - With depictions of various temple and palace scenes. Especially interesting is the depiction of a group of figures with colorful paper kites. - Due to paper conditions with slight and even browning, partially with small stains. Overall very good. The paintings in very well preserved condition, the colours bright.
