Insgesamt gut erhalten, Tafeln in kräftigem Kolorit.

Red leather with ornamental, gold-stamped title and fillets (rubbed and bumped, slightly scraped). - Third edition. - Translated from the French. - With handwritten ownership note on the endpaper. - Bookplate by Nora E. Snow. - A work on the arts and crafts of China with numerous depictions of costumes and professions. Breton's attempt to compensate for the lack of such treatises. - Coloring of the plates differs from the French edition. - Some parts slightly foxed or finger-stained. Overall well preserved, panels in strong coloration.
