Festrede gehalten bei dem Veteranentag zu Altusried am 28. Ottb. 1871. Vom Bürgermeister Kiechle. Wohl eigenhändiges Manuskript mit Unterschrift. 9 S. auf 6 fadengehefteten Bll. (je ca. 23 x 14,5 cm).

Wer hätte geglaubt, daß wir in einem schweren Kriege in so kurzer Zeit so viele Siege verfechten, und ein so glorreicher Friede zu Stande gekommen wäre, indem uns so große feindliche Heereskräfte gegenüberstanden! . Aber den ungerechten Krieg, den uns der Kaiser der Franzosen, der schlaue Napoleon erklärte, schrie um Rache zu Gott dem Allmächtigen und derselbe segnete die Waffen des Deutschen Heeres, so das Sieg auf Sieg folgte ... - Faltspuren, etwas knitterig, tls. gering fleckig, Tinte in den letzten beiden Zeilen etwas verwischt, sonst gut erhalten.
