Mémoire bibliographique sur les journaux des navigateurs néerlandais ..., pp. 24-26 - Detailed and richly illustrated account of a Dutch expedition with five ships to cross the Strait of Magellan, here the second imprint of first edition published in 1600. In the course of this expedition, two ships were separated from the fleet during a storm and had to remain four months in the strait, during which Captain De Weert and the crews had to endure a variety of 'dangers and sufferings' (Tiele, p. 24). (Tiele, S. 25) - Wrong pagination: 43 instead of 34, 60 and 61 reversed, 72 missing, 77 instead of 73, 27 instead of 76 and 73 instead of 77 - Top edge trimmed closer, but without loss of text, the last 5 leaves slightly stained at the upper fore-edge, some older marginalia in pencil, paper with slight browning.
