Umfangreiche Sammlung von Klischeedrucken mechanischer Rechenmaschinen und eine Reihe von Klischees von Dosenöffnern der Brunsviga Maschinenwerke. Braunschweig, Brunsviga Maschinenwerke AG (ca. 1927). Je aufgeklebt auf feste Kartonseiten. 115 S. (hs. nummeriert, hiervon 18 leer). Gr. Fol. Lwd. d. Zt., VDeckel mit hs. Papieretikett (beschabt, berieben u. bestoßen, etw. angestaubt, im Kapital oben u. unten verstärkt).

Technik – Enthält zudem Beispiele von Werbestrategien mit dazugehörigem Werbematerial, Plakaten, Markenzeichen und typographischem Material. - Firmeninterner Katalog der Brunsviga Maschinenwerke AG (gegründet 1871 als Grimme, Natalis & Co), bekannt für eine Reihe mechanischer Rechenmaschinen unter der Marke Brunsviga. Diese Produktlinie war so erfolgreich, dass das Unternehmen 1927 in "Brunsviga Maschinenwerke AG" umbenannt wurde. In den ersten Jahren der Produktion waren mechanische Rechenmaschinen eher ein Nebenprodukt, erst ab 1901 erfolgte eine stärkere Konzentration auf das Rechenmaschinengeschäft, was sich in den stark steigenden Verkaufszahlen (1892-1901 ca. 4000 Maschinen, 1902-1911 ca. 16000 Maschinen) und der zunehmenden Typenvielfalt zeigte. Darüber hinaus wurden ab 1903 reine Rechenmaschinen entwickelt. Aus dem ursprünglichen Arithmometer von W. T. Odhner, einer sehr erfolgreichen Nadelrad-Rechenmaschine, wurde eine Vielzahl von Modellen abgeleitet, um den Kundenwünschen gerecht zu werden. Die bis zu 18 verschiedenen Ausführungen der Rechenmaschinen erforderten einen hohen Produktionsaufwand, der 1925 zur "Nova"-Serie führte, die in kompartimenteller Austauschbauweise hergestellt wurde. - Die Kartonblätter wenig angebräunt, leicht staubschmutzig bzw. partiell leicht fleckig, wenige Bll. mit kurzen Einrissen. Insgesamt wohlerhaltene sowie umfassende Sammlung.

Cont. cloth front cover with paper label (scuffed, rubbed and bumped, somewhat dusty, top and bottom of spine reinforced). - Also contains examples of advertising strategies with associated advertising material, posters, trademarks and typographic material. - Internal company catalog of Brunsviga Maschinenwerke AG (founded in 1871 as Grimme, Natalis & Co), known for a range of mechanical calculating machines under the Brunsviga brand. This product line was so successful that the company was renamed "Brunsviga Maschinenwerke AG" in 1927. In the early years of production mechanical calculating machines were more of a secondary product it was not until 1901 that the company began to focus more strongly on the calculating machine business, which was reflected in the sharp rise in sales figures (1892-1901 approx. 4000 machines, 1902-1911 approx. 16000 machines) and the increasing variety of types. In addition, pure calculating machines were developed from 1903 onwards. A large number of models were derived from the original arithmometer by W. T. Odhner, a very successful needle wheel calculating machine, in order to meet customer requirements.
