Naturwissenschaften – Jules Moigniez war ein französischer Bildhauer, der sich in seinem Schaffen insbesondere mit der Darstellung von Tieren beschäftigte, wobei Vogelskulpturen zu einem zentralen Thema wurden. Seine Arbeiten zeichnen sich insbesondere durch ihre ausgesprochen feine und detaillierte Bearbeitung aus. - Mit leichter Anstaubung in den Vertiefungen. Die Plinthe vereinzelt mit punktueller Oxidation. Insgesamt sehr gut. Prachtvoller Guss mit bewegter und realitätsnaher Oberflächengestaltung.

Signed in the cast. - Jules Moigniez was a French sculptor whose work focussed in particular on the depiction of animals, with bird sculptures becoming a central theme. His works are characterised in particular by their exceptionally fine and detailed workmanship. - With slight dusting in the recesses. The plinth with isolated spots of oxidation. Very good overall. Splendid cast with animated and lifelike surface design.
