Naturwissenschaften – Exlibris: Eric Wickström. - Nissen ZB, 3259. - Die Tafeln und Text über die Fauna von Schweden wurde zwishen 1806 und 1825 in zwölf Heften publiziert. Conrad Quensel verstarb bereits in 1806, weshalb die Texte nach seinem Tod von Olof Swartz übernommen. Die in dieser ersten Ausgabe vorliegenden Texte wurden noch von Quensel vor seinem Tod verfasst. Bis zu seinem Tod im Jahr 1811 hatte der schwedische Botaniker J. W. Palmstruch die Leitung des Projekts. Die letzten drei Hefte wurden nach seinem Tod veröffentlicht. - Enthält die Teile 1-24. - Teils fleckig. Ränder gebräunt. Kupfertsiche größtenteils unbeeinträchtigt. Insgesamt gut erhalten. - Dabei: O. Swartz. Svensk Zoologi. Heft 11. Mit 6 teils kolorierten Kupfertafeln. Stockholm, Carl Deleen, 1818. 23 Bll. OBroschur.

Natural Sciences – With 24 colored engravings by J. W. Palmstruch. Half leather with gilt stamped spine label. (Slightly rubbed and bumped.) - The plates and text on the fauna of Sweden were published in twelve volumes between 1806 and 1825. Conrad Quensel died in 1806, which is why the texts were taken over by Olof Swartz after his death. The texts in this first edition were written by Quensel before his death. Until his death in 1811, the Swedish botanist J. W. Palmstruch was in charge of the project. The last three issues were published after his death. - Contains parts 1-24 - Partly stained. Margins browned. Copper stains largely unaffected. Overall in good condition. - Added: O. Swartz. Svensk Zoologi. Issue 11. With 6 partly colored copper plates. Original paper cover.
