Die allesamt mehrere Figuren abbildgende Falttafeln auf breite Falze montiert. - Taf. V mit leicht sichtbaren Tintenfleckchen, einige Taf. mit geringem Lichtrand, mitunter leicht stockfleckig u. gebräunt, die Kupfer etwas knitterig. Insgesamt solides Exemplar dieses mit klar nach beeindruckend detailgetreuen Zeichnungen gestochenen Kupfern ausgestatteten Werks.

Natural Sciences – First edition of this richly illustrated work on human anatomy. - For references see above. - With frontispiece by Scheuen and 18 folding plates, all copper engraved, furthermore engraved publisher's emblem by Bornigeroth as title vignette, as well as several decorative head-pieces and initials in woodcut. - A comprehensive and in it's time popular reference work by Christian Ehrenfried Eschenbach (1712-1788), Rostock city physician and long-time rector of the local university. The folding plates, all depicting several figures, are mounted on wide folds. - Plate V with slightly visible ink spots, some plates with slight foxing, occasionally slightly foxy, soiled and time-stained, the copper engraved plates somewhat creased. Overall, a solid copy of this work, which is equipped with copperplates engraved with clearly impressive, detailed drawings.
