Wappenexlibris. - Die Vorsätze und wenige weitere Blatt etw. leimschattig, fleckig und gebräunt, vereinzelt leicht wurmspurig, nur vereinzelt etw. braunfleckig. Insgesamt sehr sauberes und wohlerhaltenes Exemplar dieser seltenen Schrift.

Natural Sciences – Medicine - With engraved frontispiece. Leather binding of the period with gilt spine, standing edges and speckled edges on three sides (scuffed, rubbed and bumped, the spine upper and lower capital with small defects). - Very rare, only 3 copies listed by Worldcat (Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, Baltimore - National Library of Medicine, Bethesda - Bibliothèque nationale de France). - Currently not verifiable for us in trade. - The frontispiece with portrait of the author. - Inside front cover with mounted label, inside rear endpaper with mounted armorial bookplate. - The endpapers and a few more leaves somewhat glue-stained, soiled and browned, occasional slight worm-marked, only a few occasional brown spots. Altogether in very clean and well-preserved condition.
