Naturwissenschaften – Lötrohrprobierkasten mit einem Lötrohr, Pinzette, Hammer, einer kleinen Lupe und einem kleinen Mörser, sowie 10 kleinen Gefäßen mit mineralischen Proben. - Die Lötrohrporbierkunst ermöglicht eine Untersuchung von mineralischen Proben bei sehr hohen Temperaturen. Durch das gekonnte Durchblasen durch das Lötrohr in eine Falmme kann man eine Oxidations- oder eine Reduktionsflamme erzeugen und somit unterschiedliche Tests durchführen. Das Verfahren wurde erstmals Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts dokumentiert. Jedoch erst ein Jahrhundert später wurde in Freiburg gewann die Lötrohrkunst an Popularität, als sie durch die Schriften von Carl Friedrich Plattner vollendet wurde. - Risse im Holzkasten, Samt leicht fleckig. Insgesamt gut erhalten, inklusive Proben.

By skillfully blowing through the soldering tube into a flame, an oxidation or reduction flame can be created, allowing different tests to be carried out. The process was first documented in the mid-18th century. However, it was not until a century later that the art of the blowpipe gained popularity in Freiburg when it was perfected by the writings of Carl Friedrich Plattner. - Cracks in the wooden box, velvet slightly stained.
