Naturwissenschaften – Vollständige Reihe der ersten niederländischen Ausgabe. - Sehr selten. - Nissen ZBI, 2233. - ADB 16 (1882), 326: "Dieses bedeutende und epochemachende Werk galt lange Zeit hindurch als die Grundlage für das Studium der Versteinerungen und trug viel zur Verbreitung der Kenntnisse von diesen Naturkörpern bei". - Die bedeutende Arbeit des Nürnberger Kupferstechers Georg Wolfgang Knorr (1705-1761) wurde posthum in 4 Bänden von Johann E. I. Walch publiziert und in niederländisch und französisch übersetzt. - Tls. mit Restaurierungen am oberen Rand der Seiten. Leicht fleckig und Ränder gebräunt. Frontispiz lose. Insgesamt sehr gut erhaltene Bände mit prachtvollen Kupfertafeln. Die Kupferstiche sind detailreich und in kräftigem Kolorit.
