Sammlung von 3 eigenhändigen Briefen mit Unterschrift des österreichischen Komponisten (1870-1940). Berlin, 4. u. 13. Dez. 1936. Je 1 S. auf 1 Doppelblatt (Einzelblattmaße ca. 22,5 x 17,5 cm) (2 auf persönl. Briefpapier mit Lehárs gedr. Namen im Briefkopf, 1 auf Papier mit gedr. Wappen u. Namen des Berliner Eden-Hotels). Mit 1 gelaufenen Briefumschlag (dieser etw. angeschmutzt u. fleckig) adressiert an den Oberregierungsrat Gustav Sommerfeld in Berlin.

Autographen – Enthält: 2 Briefe vom 4. u. 13. Dez. an den Oberregierungsrat Gustav Sommerfeld. - Krankheitsbedingte Absage auf eine Einladung zur Vorstellung "Moral" u. Danksagung, die "hervorragende Zarewitsch Aufführung" dirigiert haben zu können. - Bitte, "sich der armen kleinen im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes 'unterernährten' Künstlerin Drusowitsch annehmen zu wollen." - Die Sopranistin Erika Druzovic (1911-2001) hatte in Lehárs Operette Zarewitsch die Hauptrolle der Sonja übernommen. - 1 Brief an "Herrn Generalintendant" vom 13. Dez. 1936. - Weist auf den "sehr geschwächten" Zustand von "Fräulein Drusowitsch" und ihre "entsetzliche Gage" hin und bittet um deren Erhöhung auf mindestens 1500 DM im Monat. - Je mit horizontalem Mittelfalz, gering knitterig, v.a. verso tls. leicht fingerfleckig, sonst insg. wohlerhalten.

Autographs – Collection of 3 German autograph letters signed by the Austrian composer (1870-1940). With 1 used envelope (somewhat soiled and stained) addressed to Senior Government Councillor Gustav Sommerfeld in Berlin. - Contains: 2 letters dated 4 and 13 December to Senior Government Councillor Gustav Sommerfeld. - Cancellation due to illness of an invitation to the performance of 'Moral' and thanks for being able to conduct the 'excellent performance of Tsarevich'. - Request to 'take care of the poor little artist Drusowitsch, who is literally "malnourished".' - Soprano Erika Druzovic (1911-2001) had taken on the leading role of Sonja in Lehár's operetta Tsarevich. - 1 letter to 'Mr General Director' dated 13 December 1936. - Points out the 'very weakened' condition of 'Miss Drusowitsch' and her 'appalling fee' and asks for it to be increased to at least 1500 DM per month. - Each with horizontal centre fold, slightly creased, some slight fingerstained (mainly on verso), otherwise overall well preserved.
