Science of Art – Rare atlas volume with decorative costume plates, framed by titled borders. - Not in KVK. - Probably a separate atlas volume of costume illustrations from Dulaure's Histoire de Paris. - 2 plates trimmed at the outer edge, 1 plate with a long cut in the upper border. Cont. half leather with rich gilt decoration on the spine (more heavily scuffed). - Added: Duplessis, G., Costumes Historiques Des XVIe, XVIIe et XVIIIe Siecles. Tome 2. With 75 col. lith. plates. - Somewhat foxed in places, especially the silk protective sheets.
