Kunstwissenschaften – Seltene Originalausgabe der prachtvollen Schrift. "B. Dondorf (1809-1902) eröffnete bereits 1833 eine lithographische Anstalt in der Saalgasse 27 B. Zuvor hatte er eine Ausbildung in der Druckerei Naumann absolviert. Große Verdienste erwarb er sich um die Entwicklung der Chromolithographie, die nach dem Rückgang des Wertpapierdrucks neben der Spielkartenfabrikation den Hauptumsatz des Unternehmens bestritt" (cit. nach Rhein-Main-Wiki). - Kleine Randläsuren, gering beschabt und knitterig, insgesamt gut. Ohne Taf. 9 u. 13. - Beiliegen: über 20 farbig lithogr. Zahlenblätter in Gold, Silber u. Grün/Gelb (teils etwas verklebt miteinander).
