Moderne - Bauhaus

Architektur – Max Sinowjewitsch Krajewski (1901-1971) war ein polnisch-russischer Architekt. 1919 floh er ins Ruhrgebiet bevor er 1923 an das Bauhaus in Weimar ging. In Dessau wurde er Geselle in der Metallwerkstatt und entwarf Beleuchtungskörper für das Bauhausgebäude. 1926 wurde er Praktikant im Projektierungsbüro Gropius, ein Jahr später Angestellter. Gropius setzte ihn als Bauleiter in der Wohnsiedlung Törten, dann beim Arbeitsamt Dessau und 1929/30 in der Wohnsiedlung Dammerstock in Karlsruhe ein. 1931 kehrte Krajewski in die Sowjetunion zurück. - Kleiner Braunfleck und leichte Beschabung im oberen Rand. Wohlerhalten.

Reincke & Co'. - Max Sinowjewitsch Krajewski (1901-1971) was a Polish-Russian architect. He fled to the Ruhr region in 1919 before joining the Bauhaus in Weimar in 1923. In Dessau, he became a trainee in the metal workshop and designed lighting fixtures for the Bauhaus building. In 1926 he became a trainee in Gropius' design office, and a year later an employee. Gropius employed him as site manager at the Törten housing estate, then at the Dessau labour office and in 1929/30 at the Dammerstock housing estate in Karlsruhe. Krajewski returned to the Soviet Union in 1931. - Small brown stain and slight abrasion in the upper margin. Well preserved.
