Architektur – Sehr selten. - Mit Stempel der königlichen Garnisons Bibliothek in Kopenhagen und der "Ingenieurcorpsets Bibliothek". - Architekturwerk des vielseitigen hessischen "Berg- und Hüttenmannes", der u.a. am Hanauer Hof als Baudirektor tätig war (vgl. ADB III, 740). Die Tafeln zeigen Grund- u. Aufrisse, bautechnische Details, Treppen, Dachformen u. -konstruktionen, Bauornamentik, Öfen, Innendekors, Kariatüden, Säulenordnungen, Ziergitter, Fenster, Gartenarchitektur etc. - Etw gebräunt u. stockfleckig, ingesamt gutes Exemplar.

Architecture – Architecture - With 30 folded copper plates.Contemporary half leather binding with mounted spine title (somewhat scuffed and bumped). - Very rare. - With stamp of the Royal Garrison Library in Copenhagen and the "Ingenieurcorpsets Bibliothek". - Architectural work by the versatile Hessian "miner and smelter," who worked as director of construction at the Hanau court, among other places (cf. ADB III, 740). The plates show floor plans and elevations, structural details, staircases, roof shapes and constructions, architectural ornamentation, stoves, interior decorations, caryatids, column orders, decorative grilles, windows, garden architecture, etc. - Somewhat browned and foxed, overall a good copy.
