Franz Werfel (1890-1945) war ein österreichisch-böhmischer jüdischer Schriftsteller. Sein erster Gedichtband wurde 1911 veröffentlicht, und bald darauf wurde er Mitglied des Prager Kreises deutschsprachiger jüdischer Schriftsteller, zu dem auch Franz Kafka, Max Brod und Egon Erwin Kisch gehörten. 1912 siedelte Werfel nach Deutschland über. - Guter Zustand.

Corners bumped). - Signed by the author. - An association copy of Werfel's collection of poems, inscribed to Max Brod. Franz Werfel (1890-1945) was an Austrian-Bohemian Jewish author. His first book of poems was published in 1911, and soon after that he became member of the Prague Circle of German-speaking Jewish writers, whose members were Franz Kafka, Max Brod and Egon Erwin Kisch. In 1912 Werfel moved to Germany. - Good condition.
