Eigenhändiger Brief mit Unterschrift an Lajos Ernst. Wien, 2. April 1907. Deutsche Handschrift auf Bütten mit Wz. 2 S. u. Paraphe auf 1 Doppelblatt (je ca. 18 x 11,5 cm).

Autographen – Philip de László (1869-1937) war ein anglo-ungarischer Maler, der in Großbritannien vor allem für seine Porträts von königlichen und aristokratischen Persönlichkeiten bekannt war. Der ungarische Kunstsammler Lajos Ernst (1872-1937) war Mäzen, Museumsgründer und -direktor und pflegte ein gutes Netzwerk zu ungarischen Künstlern. - "... anbei sende ich Ihnen ein Schreiben aus Cannes bezüglich das Bild Monseigneur Graf Vay de Vaya. Es scheint dass das Bild von Cannes am 20 Februar expediert wurde. Man soll das Bild reclamieren in Pest ... Ich freue mich sehr auf die Pester Austellung ..." - Verso mit Lajos Ernsts Sammlerstempel. - Horizontaler Mittelfalz, an den Ecken je mit winzigem Randeinriss, Blattränder tls. gering gebräunt, insg. wohlerhalten.

Autographs – German autograph letter signed to Lajos Ernst. - Philip de László (1869-1937) was an Anglo-Hungarian painter who was particularly well known in Great Britain for his portraits of royal and aristocratic personalities. The Hungarian art collector Lajos Ernst (1872-1937) was a patron, museum founder and director and cultivated a good network of Hungarian artists. - Horizontal centre fold, each corner with tiny tear, margins partially slightly browned, overall well preserved.
