Erschienen im Rahmen der Petropolis-Reihe. - Die mittels vorgebundener Seidenhemdchen geschützten Tafeln mit von Grigorieff fulminant gezeichneten Szenen und Studien aus dem Hafenmilieu Marseilles in teils kubistischer, teils neusachlicher Manier. - Einige Seidenhemdchen knitterig, papierbedingt gebräunt, insgesamt gut erhaltenes Exemplar dieser großformatigen, breitrandigen Ausgabe mit den eindrucksvollen Illustrationen.

Grigorieff. - Unnumbered copy of an edition stated to be limited to 500 copies. Published as part of the Petropolis series. - The plates, protected by tissue papers, depict Grigorieff's brilliantly drawn scenes and studies from the port area of Marseilles, partly in a Cubist, partly New Objectivity style. - Some tissue papers creased, with some time-staining due to the paper. Overall, a well-preserved copy of this large-format, wide-margined and profusely illustrated edition.
