Vorsätze, papierbedingt gebräunt, durchgehend etw. braun- u. fingerfleckig, sonst insg. gut erhalten.

Contemp. marbled half leather with label and library label to spine (rubbed, bumped, corners scuffed). - The German naturalist Georg Heinrich Borowski (1749-1801), who studied various animal species, dedicates this volume to turtles, frogs, lizards, snakes, fish and seahorses with corresponding plates. - Book block cracked, inside cover with ownership label of Count von Kalnein Schloss Domnau, without free endpapers, browned due to paper, some browning and fingerstaining throughout, otherwise in good overall condition.
