Mit Holzschnitt-Druckermarke auf Titel. Lyon, Jean Barbou für Jean und François Frellon, 1538. 131 S., 3 Bll. Folio. HLdr. d. 19. Jh. (berieben, leicht beschabt).

Alte Drucke, Bibeln, Klassische Autoren in den Originalsprachen – Selten. - Baudrier V, 175. Nicht bei Adams. - Andrea Alciato (1492-1550) war ein italienischer Jurist und Schriftsteller. Er gilt als der Begründer der französischen Schule der Rechtshumanisten. - Vorsätze erneuert. Durchgehend wurmgängig, mit Buchstabenverlust. Wasserrandig und etwas gebräunt, teils etwas fleckig. Text vereinzelt feuchtigkeitsbedingt verwischt. Titel mit zeitgen. Besitzeintrag und getilgtem Stempel.

Prints before 1600, Bibles, Classics in Original Languages – With woodcut printer's mark on title. Half leather of the 19th c. (rubbed and scuffed). - Rare. - Andrea Alciato (1492-1550) was an Italian jurist and writer. He is considered the founder of the French school of legal humanists. - Endpapers renewed. Worming throughout, with loss of letters. Waterstained and somewhat browned, some spotting. Text occasionally smudged due to dampness. Title with contemp. ownership inscription and cancelled stamp.
