Decem e Familia Burggraviorum Nurnbergensium Electorum Brandenburgicorum Eicones, ad vivum expressae, Eorumque Res Gestae, una Cum Genealogiis. Mit heraldischer Titelbordüre, 12 gestochenen Porträts, einer gestochenen Stammbaum-Tafel und Holzschnitt-Buchschmuck. Berlin, Rungius, 1625. 4 Bll., 110 S., 1 Bl. 4°. Pgt. d. Zt. (stärker fleckig und leicht gebogen).

Alte Drucke, Bibeln, Klassische Autoren in den Originalsprachen – VD17 23:233218N. - Erste Ausgabe. Eine von mehreren Druckvarianten (VD17 verzeichnet 5). Unser Exemplar auf dem Titel mit Vermerk des Kupferstechers jedoch ohne Ortsangabe. Mit dem Druckvermerk auf Titel: "Berlini, Typis Rungianis. Anno: 1626. Exemplaria prostant Wittebergae apud Haeredes Samuelis Selfisch." Im Kolophon: "Berlini, Iussu Serenissimi Electoris Brandenburgici: Sumtibus & Impensis Authoris: Excudebat Georgius Rungius, Typographus, Anno M.DC.XXV." - Lipperheide 709. Jöcher I, 1812 (Ausg. 1628). - Die Porträtfolge mit den Brandenburgischen Kurfürsten von Friedrich I. bis zum Großen Kurfürsten, der als Kind dargestellt ist. Der Titel umrahmt von einer Bordüre aus den Wappen brandenburgischer Städte. - Vorsätze mit den Sammlerstempeln von Heinrich Schmitz, Duisburg und Rudolf Leistner, Dortmund. - Gebräunt und teils etwas fleckig. Vereinzelt minimal wasserrandig. Erstes Textbl. mit fachmännisch restaurierter Fehlstelle im weißen Rand. S. 29 mit Einriss im Text. Wohlerhalten.

Prints before 1600, Bibles, Classics in Original Languages – With heraldic title border, 12 engraved portraits, an engraved genealogical plate and woodcut book decoration. Cont. vellum (heavily stained and slightly bent). - First edition. One of several printed variants (VD17 lists 5). Our copy with the engraver's annotation on the title, but without location. - The portrait series with the Brandenburg Electors from Frederick I to the Great Elector, who is depicted as a child. The title framed by a border of the coats of arms of Brandenburg towns. - The endpapers with the collector's stamps of Heinrich Schmitz, Duisburg and Rudolf Leistner, Dortmund. - Browned and somewhat stained in places. Minimal waterstaining in places. First text leaf with professionally restored loss in white margin. p. 29 with tear. Overall well preserved.
