Design
Schmutzfleckig. Tls. am Rand knickspurig. - Sehr selten.
Modern Literature and Art – With 30 lithographic plates, some colored in pochoir and watercolors. The work consists of 30 color plates, each showing complete pieces of furniture or ensembles in the Art Nouveau style, such as sideboards, chairs, tables, or entire wall sections. The coloring was done using the sophisticated pochoir process (hand stencil printing), which allows for very strong, decorative colors and accurate reproduction of materials. Raynal's style is in line with the Parisian Art Nouveau and early Art Deco movements, as can also be seen in other contemporary pattern books and portfolios on furniture and interior design. Typical features include curved lines, floral or geometric ornaments, and a clear emphasis on furniture as a design element of modern living. - A few plates have slight water stains on the lower outer edge, as well as slight brown or dirt stains. Corners creased. - Very rare.
