Darmstädter Sezession

Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Wichtige Ausstellung von Gemälden und Skulpturen der Darmstädter Sezession unter Teilnahme nahmenhafter nationaler und internationaler Künstler wie Max Beckmann, Willi Baumeister, Oskar Schlemmer, Max Kaus, Frans Masereel, Max Pechstein, Moise Kisling, André Derain, Marc Chagall etc. - Der interessante Katalogumschlag des Darmstaedter Malers C. Gunschmann (1895-1984) zeigt einen weiblichen Torso von Archipenko (Galerie Westheim, Berlin) und eine antike Ägypterin im Hintergrund. Carl Gunschmann gründete nach den Revolutionswirren 1919 mit Kasimir Edschmid die Darmstädter Sezession. - Teils leicht bestossen, 1 Bl. mit ergänztem Eckausriss.

Modern Literature and Art – Exhibition catalogue with numerous mostly full-page illustrations. Ill. orig. wrappers (somewhat browned and stained, spine with small defects). - Important exhibition of paintings and sculptures of the Darmstadt Secession with participation of renowned national and international artists like Max Beckmann, Willi Baumeister, Oskar Schlemmer, Max Kaus, Frans Masereel, Max Pechstein, Moise Kisling, André Derain, Marc Chagall etc. - Paperback (slightly discolored and stained, spine discreetly reinforced). - Some pages have slight creases, 1 page has a torn corner that has been repaired.

A pickup of this work is possible in our premises at Potsdamer Str. 16, 14163 Berlin by appointment. If you wish a shipment of the work, please contact us for a consultation and shipping calculation. Framed tickets are shipped exclusively by a shipping company due to the risk of breakage. Postal shipping is only carried out at the express request and risk of the buyer.
